I authorize and authorize my consent to the University of Colorado Boulder and collection offices acting on behalf of the University of Colorado Boulder to contact me by email and/or through all phone numbers associated with my account, including my mobile phone or other wireless devices equipped with automatic telephone devices, text messages and voice messages, artificial or pre-recorded, to discuss my depending study account, loans and other institutional services, now and in the future, provided they meet the requirements of the Colorado Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, C.R.S. §12-14-101 et seq. I understand that I may revoke my consent to the call of my mobile phone number by sending my question in writing to the address mentioned above or in writing to the contractor or agent who contacts me on behalf of the university. While this is often a last resort, some student accounts end up in collections. A signed agreement can help recoup long-awaited tuition fees. Where any provision of this Agreement is in any way illegal, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be excluded to the extent of such invalidity or non-application; All other provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect; and, to the extent possible, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed to be superseded by a provision that is valid, enforceable and closest to the intent of such invalid or unenforceable provision. A student should be able to return to their signed agreement if they have questions about their responsibilities or the institution`s processes. Some institutions make the signed contract visible on student portals.
